T.G.W-
You must be an extremely sheltered individual not to realize that the world is filled with highly degreed and well positioned incompetents. Glen Randolph addressed salient questions to Mr. Johnson. Glen had every right to question Mr. Johnson's unfounded and erroneous conclusions. Mr. Johnsons and his firm put out seemingly erroneous and exaggerated information that had the effect of damaging the share price of our company, Ascend. If the information was intentionally erroneous, it could amount to an attempt at stock manipulation. This should be a crime. You sound as if you believe Mr. Johnson to be infallible and beyond the realm of criticism and accountability. Institutional and analyst downgrades are always leaked to the public to have their desired effect. Mr. Johnson's downgrade found its way into the public domain. Mr. Johnson had the opportunity to correct any misconceptions that Glen raised. Rather than correct, he chose haughtiness and smugness. He responded like one who is accustomed to have his incompetency protected by a wall of bureaucracy and establishement news channels. Because of the internet, analyst can finally begin to be held accountable for some of their thinnly disguised misinformation. Let us hope that Mr. Johnson will choose to explain Glen's observations and remove any suspicion of his competency.
