I've come to believe Savage is an act. Even if he actually believes half his stuff, he's way too over the top to not be performance art. He's a caricature. I used to listen to him on the way to work in Houston, in the same way people gawk at car wrecks. Interesting wiki on him: en.wikipedia.org
