In order to find a basis of CPGA costs per type of Gross Add. You must find a point in the metrics where either OEM or Retail additions become more pronounced. In XM's case, this occurred in Q4 2005. 87% of net adds came from retail. XM's CPGA expenses zoomed to ~$130 due to their high retail add rate. Now, these are the FACTS. And They are... Irrefutable. Now you have provided lots of EXCUSES as to why retail CPGA was higher than OEM in Q4 as the Financial Statements clearly show. But, they are simply that.. Excuses.. So you can not claim I am WRONG and then claim that the reason I am wrong is not because my verifiable data points presented in the SEC statements are wrong..

You're interpretation of the facts is wrong. What radios are priced at and whether the rebate is instant or mail in have big impacts. Let's say that again. The ASP of radios at retail has a large impact on CPGA. If their was a $50 reduction for the fourth quarter and only the fourth quarter that would have a large one time impact. You take that one time impact and use it as a baseline. Simply wrong and illogical.

Well, when we start to figure out a puzzle, when need to collect the FACTS, and seperate the OPINIONS from the actual FACTS. (You'll learn this if you watch those forensic shows on cable) You claim as a FACT. that SIRI's CPGA in the fourth Quarter of last year was $188, and CPGA in the 2nd quarte was $231. Now, I have never seen any CPGA figures provided by Sirius. So I would have to ask you to provide the SEC statements or company press releases that can verify these data points. Nothing worse than starting out with bogus information from less than credible sources.

Sirius does not provide a CPGA figure. It must be calculated out from the financial statements. Takes about 2 minutes. It can be calculated manually for both XM and SIRI in a consistant manner. You don't seem to be capable of being this or even of telling me what the SAC for Sirius is. Sirius reports an adjusted SAC in their 10Q's not the true SAC.

As to my story, it's the same story I have always had. Retail CPGA is lower. Retail subscribers are more profitable than OEM subscribers. Actually quite simple. But not simple enough for you to understand apparently.
