So is that a high-end market problem or TI's market share problem?

The problem is that way TI and Nokia had higher expectations for the development of the WCDMA market than what occurred in the 3rd quarter. The only handset manufacturer that seems to have had a decent quarter in WCDMA is Sony Ericsson and they gained share on all fronts so that isnt very surprising.

The key is that TI still believes that WCDMA volumes will "exceed 100 million" in '06. The lack of good WCDMA data points during the 3rd quarter was making me (and I think the market in general) wonder if even that target was at risk.
