Actually, the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" guy has been bearish on residential RE for over a year now.....

good for him--he obviously is no idiot since he became rich by telling other people how to become rich--a tried and true formula if there ever was one.

i'm not sure his fan club got the message, though. it seems every financially illiterate person i know who wants to "get out of the rat race" owns his book and wants to become a slumlord extraordinaire by buying up crappy rentals. i feel like the modern guy in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court trying to tell these people that if everyone gets into rentals, then rentals will be overpriced. and if they buy overpriced properties, their forward returns will not be as good as anticipated.
