Ya know, this war started in the sixties, when weed was 100 bucks a key and it was Mexican stems and seeds. Never heard about it being grown here.
30 years later,it is more available, costs almost as much as gold, is grown on plantations run by the Mexican Mafia in our national parklands, and still hasn't been shown to be medically harmful; the opposite, actually. It's made growers (tax-free) rich, given cops lots of OT, spent lots of taxpayer dollars that could have gone into my town's school. Maybe it's time to make it legal.
