kech - upload speeds might be very useful but my guess is that more people use download for surfing etc and uploading the average email has never been a problem for me. Some corporate types may need to send huge files and for them it will be useful but as I say most of us just want fast downloads.

Seems not so long ago we had cdma-1x that was supposed to do 150kbps but infact never really did much more than 50 kbps now nearly six hears later they are talking about upgrading to 450kbps. Not impressed.

I have a Sprint pcmcia card and it works just fine and I'm not going to upgrade for another 100kbps.
