<< has George talked about Lightwave(LPTHA) is previous issues? >>
First of all LPTHA=Lightpath, not Lightwave. I can understand your confusion due to the article I posted about Lightwave Microsystems a few posts back. Lightwave Microsystems has no relation to Lightpath, I just thought that it was an interesting article about a possible WDM star of the future. (They are private). Even more confusing, Lightpath has formed a joint venture with Invention Machine Corp. called "Lightchip", which is 51% owned by Lightpath. They just announced the new CEO, a former Kodak executive. Lightchip is currently seeking funding.
Furthermore, I don't want to give the impression that G. Gilder has endorsed Lightpath. I am merely a fan of his work and Lightpath is focusing it's efforts in the areas that Gilder talks about.
<< I've been designing a decision support system that would use the Gilder telecosm paradigm as a base assumption and then link associated players together with links back to the gilder source documents. End result would be a tool for investment decision support. Thoughts, comments? >>
Wow, sounds like quite an undertaking. I would be interested to see how it turns out.
<< Anyhow, great posts, and I'll be back to this thread, cause I'm very pro Gilder, pro fiber, pro Bandwidth, ... >>
I'm sure your probably already aware of it but just in case here is a George Gilder thread which should prove to be useful. Apparently Mr. Gilder decided to join SI and post on the thread last night. You'll be happy to know that he is already speaking highly of LSI. Subject 16530
BTW, I suggest other Lightpath thread followers read all his Forbes articles about bandwith. I posted a link to them somewhere on this thread a few months ago.
Good luck with LSI and your other investments
