doesn't Q's share price usually fall just before fright night?

Lim, it's been my experience that QCOM share price tends to go up before the earnings are announced, and then drop afterwards. So if the price is dropping now, there is certainly a possibility that some people believe earnings will be weaker than previously forecast. Furthermore, earnings will be augmented by the bookkeeping regulations that require licensing fees to be spread out over the life of the license, rather than be reported when they're received.
