I recall CNN being useful on a trip a few yrs back, when we flew out of JFK, 7pm Fri, in a light snowfall. Next morning we arrived in Shannon and learned on CNN that we had just avoided a Blizzard. By the time we returned home, the roads were cleared...added a little serendipity to the trip.

At one time CNN did reflect the American culture, not any more. Today CNN's priorities equate with those of the UN.
