Actually it was never my intention to set a trap for her. Despite what comes across as my jaded attitude, I am a hopeless optimist and hope that at least some in the war party will take a closer and less biased look at their feelings and the actions of this administration. For anyone who has studied the Nazis, the similarities are horrifyingly numerous.

Of course, every generation has its own morality. One cannot go back more than 20-30 years to place the moral framework on the actions. In the middle ages in London, a "thief" could be sentenced to death for stealing a loaf of bread. Today even harshest hanging judges would not find such a sentence justifiable. Similarly, I do not need to see this administration resort to mass murder before I judge them on par with the Stalin; 60 years of progress since then should have taught them better and I judge them according to our time.
