Not sure which text book phrase describes blaming someone else for a problem that you created.

It always amazes me how folks can look at the trainwreck that Bush has created, and declare that not only would the same train wreck have occurred with a competent engineer at the controls, but that it was really the fault of the guy who had previously succeeded at the job and then let the idiot drive.
