YOu are hopeless. It's a good thing you aren't a CEO. You'd constantly be complaining about having to spend in R&D, and say that it's not worth the cost because you can't get enough return on your investment in the next week to justify the costs. What a joke.

Massive investment to get off of oil? Yes, I agree. Worth every penny within two decades. From a financial standpoint, absolutely. Worth every penny from a national security and environmental standpoint within one decade? Absolutely.

You should read that article John Fowler posted from Friedman on the rise of petro-authoritarianism being directly correlated to the rise in the price of oil. Maybe you'd start to get it then. But when you head is buried in the sand, it's hard to pull it out, isn't it?
