Years ago, we could go not more than 10 miles west of here and do all the outdoor shooting we wanted. No longer legal to do that. As far as I know, the last outdoor shooting range was closed a couple years ago and quickly built upon.

My grandfather was a local sheriff and postmaster in a small Idaho town. I have his .38 caliber service revolver and a box of shells. I wonder if those shells are even safe? I'll have to take them to a gunsmith nearby and give them to him. I never shot the gun, but my dad did.
