a "merger" of the two firms, the better of the two taking control of
the helm. Unique Systems states in their press release that their gross revenues will grow from the 3 million level 1996/1997 (corp. callendar year) to an est. 5 million 1997/1998 (corp. yr ending May 31
1998), representing a 40% growth rate. Unique Systems developes and
markets components and sub-systems for Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) Digital Vidio Broadcasting (DVB) as well as transmission equip.
for terrestrial, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint services such
as LMDS (local multipoint distribution system). Its DVB encoders, multiplexers and modulators can be used in LMDS, MMDS, CATV (cabletelevision) and Satellite systems, Unique also manufactures a diverse line of systems for the Telecom arena (mirowave passive componenets and amplifiers from 200 Mhz to beyond 40 Ghz). Currently
has 65 employees (50% of which as degreed design engineers). The stock had a high of $3.00Cdn currently at an all time low of .30Cdn)

We may have come across a "sleeping giant" who could provide
an exciting ride in terms of their potential future stock price.
(note one weak spot: although closely held by the insiders, there is 60 thousands shares outstanding, which is common-place with R&D Firms. The positive side is that there are patents issued and sales are in progress and an income stream exists). Worth looking into. Check out
