Neuronetics VoiceNet Corporation, Inc. to also Preview Voicemail and PBX Switch Products Targeted at Small Office, Home Office and Light Industrial Markets
SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Formulab Neuronetics Corporation (ASX: FNC; NASDAQ:FNCLY), through its U.S. subsidiary Richter Paradigm Corporation, will unveil the next generation of its powerful software product, Richter Paradigm View(TM) at next week's ISA Tech 97 show in Anaheim, CA. Designed to speed the capture and implementation of advanced reasoning processes, Version 3.0 of View will feature some exciting new capabilities targeted at Windows 95/NT as well as embedded platforms. Enhancements to View include the implementation of a layered design methodology that allows the user to create and/or use libraries of re-useable reasoning objects, or macros. These macros can be used to design the target application at multiple levels of abstraction, hence further reducing development time and cost. Another key addition is the support for OLE client application development through which data between compliant Windows applications, such as spreadsheets and databases, can be seamlessly transferred to and from View. Other new capabilities include the ability to use higher-order cells, selected from a library of application-targeted functions such as those used in financial and business applications, and a 7-fold increase in the complexity of solutions supported. Formulab's engineering services subsidiary, Cavlec Electrical Engineering Pty., Ltd., will also be represented at ISA Tech 97. They will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss the use of the Neuronetics technology in process control applications. Additionally, a beta test program is underway now and will conclude soon after the close of ISA Tech 97. "These enhancements are the embodiment of our insight into the direction of our target markets and the requirements of our key customers," states Dr. Robert P. Lee, President and CEO of Formulab Neuronetics and Richter Paradigm. "These capabilities provide our customers with a platform from which they will be able to quickly create products and services for the rapid implementation of intelligent systems." In a related event, Neuronetics VoiceNet Corporation, Inc., a 50% joint venture between Formulab Neuronetics Corporation and Goldtron Ltd. of Singapore, will preview the first in a series of a full-featured voicemail and PBX switch products. The VMSOHOTM series is designed to bring advanced voicemail features and PBX switch capabilities to the small office, home office and light industrial markets. Some features of the VM2600TM model include up to 16 mailboxes with up to 180 minutes of dynamically reconfigured recording time, intercom, call forwarding and call chasing. This model is designed to accept two incoming lines and service 6 extensions. "This series of products fills a market need beyond that serviced by traditional answering and intercom machines at price points far below those of the existing office PBX switch," states Khaled Hejleh, President and CEO of VoiceNet. "Previewing this product at the premier industrial market tradeshow will allow us to relate the advantages of the VoiceNet product to the leaders of this market. Additionally, we will be actively discussing distribution and licensing opportunities." The embedded NeuroCard core can be quickly and easily interfaced to a many digital and analog systems. Potential target applications include high-order process and factory controls, data communications management and client-server systems.
