For those following Firestone Ventures, things continue to progress well on more than one front, and they appear to be making good use of their cash reserve. At the Torlon zinc property in Guatemala, sampling of the adits of local miners shows that high grade mineralization extends to the west side of the hill, well beyond the area that has been drilled, with chip samples of about 1 - 2 meters height displaying values up to 18.95% zinc, 57.38% lead, and 540 g/tonne silver. New drilling should be underway within a few weeks.

The drilling so far is summarized well on this map:

In the Yukon at Sonora Gulch, which has Firestone's geologists excited but seems to so far have produced no acknowledgement or interest elsewhere, 1821 m of drilling in 12 drill holes has been completed. The vast majority of the drill core has been sent for sampling due to the favourable mineralization intercepted which includes quartz stockwork, strongly altered pyritic intrusive rocks, and sulfides.

Do not be surprised by the assay results when they come out. The market seems to expect and anticipate nothing at this point, and this stock remains pretty cheap considering the promising uranium, gold and antimony properties it has in addition to Torlon, whose 33m of 22% zinc finally got the stock some notice earlier this year.
