I guess it's the difference between active trading and long-term investing. While you try to maximize profits with active trading, I look at fundamental value and focus on the long term. I don't have confidence that I can trade anything with better results than just holding my investments longer term, so I use a different style. I used to be a very active and successful trader, so that says a lot for my confidence in my investments.
