Re: What I think is missed here is that the vast majority of users don't spend their days playing graphics intensive games. Hard for these guys to grasp. The gaming market is huge. PCs currently play a fairly small part in it because gaming consoles have a much higher performance/price ratio than the average PC. A console can be bought for less than the price of a high-end video card alone, not including the rest of the system. I doubt AMD could do much to crack that market because hardware is sold near cost or at a loss while revenue from game licenses is expected to pick up the slack.
