" The S1 was filed Friday, and you must remember the European markets and Asian markets take a day to catch up.In addition, the majority do not have their hand glued to a key board and eyes frozen on a screen>) In addition, we are at the end of a quarter so you will see some window dressing by the funds. The end of Oct is when funds must book capitol gains and losses for the year, so we might see some buying oportunities in the near future. What is bothering me is why Ligand doesn't do a private placement , if(big if) they are going to use some stock for buy back. Surely they could do the placement at a premium to current stock price and put the shares into the hands of someone with a minimum 1 year lockout. As it is now, any stock turned over to ALRI holders can be flipped asap.
