My brothers deceased now, so I cant ask him, but he too was a sargent. His claim to fame was he loved to build and always had the greatest foxhole. The Company commander often shared his foxhole. I"ve seen pictures of some of them and they looked like mountain shacks compared to anything I ever dug.
As to the book, looks fabulous, I love the outdoors. Too old now to hike like I used to but I still see a lot of the wilderness using my jeep as my legs. jdn
