If you don't mind I'll take any book on current events with a large dose of salt and I suggest that you do the same. I'm sure that I wouldn't have too much problem digging up generals that would defend the steps we've taken in Iraq. I wouldn't blow off everything in the book but there's enough hearsay and conjecture in it that wouldn't make the book a reference volume by any means.

Just remember what it looked like in Baghdad when the looters were cleaning out the Iraqi National Treasures from museums and such.

Are you kidding me? Just what would you place a higher priority on, national treasures sitting in a museum or the infrastructure that's going to be the nations bread and butter for the next 50 years.
