The Democratic congress will focus first on getting us out of Iraq, but more troops to Afghanistan to fight real terrorists, then economic fairness programs, balanced budgets, ending Bush's corporate welfare and enormous pork barrel spending, fixing Bush's broken education program, clean fuels programs, starting to give more affordable to health care to children, lowering drug costs, raising minimum wages, protecting US jobs, voting for more stem cell research, immigration reform, installing much tougher ethics laws in DC and investigating whatever crooked schemes Bushies have been covering up for years.
All of these issues the American people solidly support.
Gay rights is not on the agenda, and impeachment would only arise if Bush is clearly guilty of a crime which is impossible to ignore. Call it oversight, not impeachment. In fact, Dems may be much smarter to leave Bush in office. He is such a disliked boob he serves democrats well as a punching bag.
Yes, Bushies have also been very corrupt, even criminal, so those crimes will be investigated. Why shouldn't they be? Rumsfeld and Cheney have to go. They are about as popular as OJ SImpson now so no one will miss them. But Bush will pardon them later anyway. The important thing is new leadership to get us out of Iraq. Rumsfeld-Cheney are roadblocks to peace.
Why? Are you actively supporting a coverup of high crimes by corrupt politicians which have cost this country hundreds of billions of dollars? If so, you're corrupt too. |
