Pete, > I am rebutting that memory speed affected the dismal Intel IGP (GPU) scores. Drjohn's a rebuttal points about the lower scores being due to lower memory speeds and lower amounts of memory are both red herrings because the benchmarks don't push either.

Fair enough, but I figure John was just tossing out a theory over specifics.

He still has a point, that AMD's laptop is being compared to a six-month-old Intel laptop. Of course, it's debatable whether there could ever be an apples-to-apples comparison between the components of any two laptops, since laptop design is highly integrated and not very modular at all.
