Shame on you. Kerry probably won the election. Being cheated by Karl Rove is not "running a poor campaign", it's being a victim like Gore was of a dirty dishonest bunch of criminals who have no respect for the law.

Just read any of the books about Ohio 2004 and tell me Kerry did not at least tie Bush. In fact you will probably come away realizing that Kerry won the election by 2% and Ohio by 100,00 votes.

COuld Kerry have done better? Yes. Could he have stopped the cheating? I don't see how. COuld he has stopped the smearvets campaign? Not really. Has he learned lessons and will he do much better next time? Absolutely. And also the smearvets weapon is useless next time around.

If you want to blame people for being smeared or cheated by Rove, then why don't you also call McCain and Gore "poor" candidates? Or how about Harold Ford if he loses by 1-2%? He's a poor candidate? Also remember, Kerry beat Bush in all three debates and raised 150 million bucks in six months, both huge accomplishments.
