Well that's all anybody can do, play their strengths.

Why is AMD a good stock play, its about market cap. Two players share the market. One has nearly all the market cap.

The products are close to par, the current lead belongs to Intel, the architectural advantages belong to AMD.

AMD held the lead for a couple of years, and Intel has reclaimed it for a couple of months.

Intel has an ocean liner, (number of shares), and is crossing the Atlantic with paddles.

AMD has a motor boat, crossing the Atlantic but fighting the storms and the winds and the waves.

AMD could capsize and drown, Intel may once again be alone in the ocean, that's the way it is viewed by Wall Street. If AMD can cross, it will upgrade the motor boar to a sloop. Intel will struggle with paddles, unless AMD is gone. Landing Dells business has put AMD in a Sloop.

Chances of it's survival are looking much better.
