Was Roosevelt anti-military? I'll remind you that he was singularly focused on getting a recalcitrant American populace to wake up to the dangers of Hitler. Thank God, he was able to do that with a little help from Pearl Harbor. BTW, he was a Democrat. Clinton cut the military greatly, it's true. But he didn't hesitate to take us to war in Kosovo using our massive airforce. Successfully, I might add.

As far as Al Gore, I didn't see your post saying he was anti-nuke facilities. I think that's a mistake. If we move to electric cars for instance, we're going to need alot of clean electricity. Nukes provide that.
