Paraphrasing CSFB Global Telecom Capex 10/23

This is a 97 page report that really gives you a sense of what is
going to be spent this year and where......taking into consideration
developed and undeveloped nations.....wireline and
wireless.....pretty substantial data.....Cable & Wireless for
example is expected to spend around $3.5 billion on infrastucture
this year.

Bottom line is with all the BILLIONS being spent it appears SONS is
in THE (emphasis on THE) place to be.....and don't fear the
comparative criticism regarding SONS being the new CSCO.....look at
the nascent market caps and timeline for the space buildout (about
15 years)....then smile if you're long!

From page 10....CSFB believes that larger suppliers (LU,NT) will
have a difficult time rising above capex trends......whatever
spending concentrated into fewer hands....driving additional vendor
consolidation.

Capex is shifting to a 'handful' of IP suppliers, next generation
optical, & broadband infrastructure....companies with meaningful
exposure without 'legacy' exposure(that word is a killer in IP
capex) include SONS, CSCO, JNPR, and CIEN (optical).

It is their #1 pick in the telecom space!
