What is the number one factor manipulatiing this stock ?? Politics !! Yes, Politics.
It has become increasingly clear that there is more going on between the analysts and Ascend. They are playing a political game of " Oh yeah, well take this.......". Buddies ? I think not. There is clearly a battle going on, and each is carefully using its "legal" weapons of war. Have you not noticed the subtle name calling ? The periodic negative articles that arise to counter asnd's news, and the fact that the CEO did not attend the latest conference ? If you look at all that has been put into print, the careful wording, its chronological release, and its cautious, but not devastating outlooks, the story unfolds. Add the calm, confident stance of the company, along with its surprise rush to release earnings ASAP, and we have a clear political game going on here. It is obvious that those who profess to know are not stating fact, but planting seeds of speculation, based on political feelings that have obviously been hurt by some behind the scenes political game.
If you seriously think that Asnd is in for bad numbers, you are going to be dissapointed. It is a brilliant move by asnd to counter with pressure on the Smart money, to decrease their time to move their clients into position. Asnd will always have the last word, for it is the company that ultimately knows its own business. |
