Ecolab Buying Back More Shares biz.yahoo.com Friday October 27, 10:20 am ET Ecolab Approves Repurchase of Another 10 Million Shares ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Ecolab Inc., provider of cleaning, pest control and maintenance products and services, on Thursday said it will repurchase up to 10 million additional shares of its common stock. On Sept. 30, Ecolab had about 3.5 million shares remaining under a repurchase authorization approved in December 2004. The company had about 251 million shares outstanding at the end of last month.
