Webb seems to represent secularists better than he could religious people. It would be safe to say that he represents democrats more than he could Republicans.

If Virginians elect him, it will say some things about the residents of the state that most people would not want said about themselves. It will be an interesting referendum on how many hardcore leftwinger voters democrats in the state can muster.
