And how long does it take to build a new Rig ?

It all depends on who the builder is. (Some seem to be able to work faster than others.<g>)

As long as the oil prices keep correcting there seems to be less incentive to build new rigs, albeit a good amount of drilling is still expected, but the dip on the oil price is supposed to affect the bottom line of "producers & explorers" more than of "drillers".<g>
