Anyone have any perspectives on the following:

Monday September 22 5:48 PM EDT

CBOE to trade two new equity options Sept 26

CHICAGO, Sept 22 (Reuter) - The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)
said Monday it would begin trading options on Brooks Automation Inc (
BRKS) and Summit Design Inc (SMMT) on September 26.

Brooks Automation options will open with strike prices of 30, 35 and 40
and expirations in October, November, January and April. The options
will trade in the Xilinx Inc trading crowd.

The options will also be available at the American Stock Exchange and
the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.

For Summit Design, the options will have opening strike prices of
12-1/2, 15 and 17-1/2, with expirations in October, November, February
and May. The options will trade in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Co trading
crowd.

I personally believe this to be good! On recenty volume dynamics, it would
appear the MMs are in on smmt (see 9.3.97 and 8.19.97).
Price range for last 30 days is wonderful:

8.15.97 = 11 7/8
9.26.97 = 16.5

No change to the company fundamentals. I've also been a recent owner
of DSTM. Another fast growing software company with a strong nitch!!
The price and volume dynamics of both of these companies are
similar.

Cheers and Happy Investing, Chris
