10/27/06 Update
The Nasdaq Biotech Index managed another small gain this week, closing Friday up 2.47% YTD (vs. up 1.88% YTD at its 10/20/06 close). But the plunge of COR (owned by 12 of the Charity Contest portfolios) took a big toll on the Contest median, which closed the week up just .45% YTD (vs. up 3.56% YTD at the 10/20/06 close). At Friday's close, 21 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 17 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
Wilder's portfolio remained in first place, closing the week up 52.0% YTD, and RKRW held on to second place with a 43.5% YTD gain.
