Why anyone buys, or manages to sell, bottles of water in Scotland is beyond me. Large areas of our cities only sell bottles of water from France. In France many places only sell bottles of water from Scotland.

The water out of the tap is usually of the highest quality. The water is soft enough to pour straight into a lead acid car battery. The sheep and fish pee in it, but it receives little or no treatment other then flourination to help prevent tooth decay.

One of John Maynard Keynes ideas during the 1930's recession was for one set of guys to dig holes in the ground and another set of guys to fill them back up again to stimulate economic activity.

Transporting water in bottles is a waste of precious resources imo. We should stick to digging and filling in holes in the ground.

Keynes in India (where they are getting shorter of water every day..)
