Zinc stocks certainly look like they are still headed down a slippery slope. Looking at nickel stocks, they jumped up quite sharply the last few days, but that may be just a trifle as stocks are still near multi-year lows. Your prognosis looks likely, if there are not some odd off-the-books stockpiles out there somewhere, even keeping economic activity at current levels should push prices up further. Very interesting to watch.
