It is totally and hillariously rediculous. First they start out by saying that ASND's MAX TNT can't perform at 56k. This is poor journalism because currently NO MODEMS can connect at 56k over standard telephone lines including K6 or X2 modems. Federal standards only allow up to 52k transfers at best to be transmitted via normal telephone lines. I think on average people get around 48k throughput. This is why they say that ASND's modems may be defective.

Then they talk about the CSCO's AS5300 "Ascend Killer" which even Robertson and Stephens Co. considers a poor substitute in their press release last week.

Lastly, they say ASND's sales are based on their hype deparment. They say while CSCO is mostly engineering and less marketing, ASND gets their sales because their marketing is 10x their engineering capacity. The article ends in trying to say it's trying to do the public a service and expose ASND for what it really is; a hype machine.

I gotta admit, it's a work of art for short sellers and I'd have to give it a 9 out of 10 on the "bash o` meter".
