Excuse me Mr Rat AND A SAILBOAT WITH A AUXILERY METHANE STIRLING ENGINE FOR ONBOARD POWER.... Why not a sail boat with an electric motor, solar panels and a biodiesel generator assist? It is already being done, and at one time many yachts (made by elco) were powered by electric motors. instead of lead for the ballast you put in Batteries. If you used Swath technology it would be even better.
