Bush cut and ran from Afghanistan and now today the Taliban staged a 5000-strong rally against the US and got away with it. Meanwhile, Bin Laden and Zawahiri are alive and well hiding in that region. 5 years after 9-11. disgraceful. In Iraq, "cut and run" is a grossly dishonest term. We have given it longer than WWII and it's not only not working, it's making matters worse. 95% of the people fighting us are Iraqis, the vast majority of whom just want us to leave them alone. How would you feel if your countryb was occupied by a foreign invader? Why can't Bushies learn than Imperialism of this type does not work. And if you believe we are there to bring Iraqis democracy, you're deluded. In fact, Bushies are now talking about bringing back a figure similar to Saddam Hussein to keep order.
