re: [" what ever happened to your scenario where the US was going to destroy China economically via high oil prices, etc. The table that you used to slam your fist to make that story is still all splintered because you slammed it so hard over and over again. Now the US is in bed with China. So which is it?"]

Modern Wars will not always be fought with footsoldiers
and tanks...

Connect the dots.

It's no longer about borders (hell, we no longer even
defend ours!)...it's about money and power.

Nothing's changed in forty+ years...other than those
in power...have more of it.

They also have more money...and want still more of it
as well.

How much money will be made in China over the next
twenty years?

Do you think the PLA will survive another twenty years?

If Japan imploded in a deflationary collapse after their
great speculative boom...what do you think the odds of
China's rapid growth continuing without a major collapse are?

Especially given their much inferior banking system,
market infrastructure and much higher levels of corruption
and speculation?

Nothing has changed since the assaination of J.F.K. -
because nothing has changed about power and money, and
nothing has changed about who really runs this country.

Not in over forty years.

Want a brief waltz down memory lane?

Try this:

It's only twenty minutes.

It only goes back twenty years.

Pay attention about Moyers quote about "giving so much
absolute power to a President"...deja vu?

Times are a changing...

Or, are they?
