Tonto,
Agreed, the lawsuit is still pending and perhaps the price will fall once again to provide some incentive to pursue it. Its a civil suit so if the class is otherwise satisfied they may not answer the call.
Code: I have written thousands of lines of code and 100 lines of bug free code a day is quite a task. Bug free is the problem. This isn't like writing a novel (ie, AVNT press releases). All programmers reach back to previous programs for bug free code routines to speed the development of the current work and that is generally accepted as the way to speed the process along. The 100 lines you refer to includes incorporating previous routines. However, when you leave a job your employer owns your work and you can't take it with you. Each programmer has a style the same as an artist does and the imprint on his work is recognized but the chances of writing a program from the start to reach the same end as a previous program without the benefit of previous work and have thousands of line of code identical is just about impossible. There are thousands of ways to write the same code line just like ficton. My programs were written for Tandy computers and sold through Tandy stores before the IBM PC but things haven't changed that much.
