As Bush said, he's up for mini-nukes, bunker buster 'tactical nuclear weapons' although I'm quite sure Bush can't tell the difference between one noooklear bomb and another. He just says that because it sounds more acceptable than regularly using regular nuclear weapons. I vaguely remember hearing that the mini-nuke project was halted but I doubt that's true.

The most obvious Bush target would be Iran, even Iranian cities full of civilians. Ditto Israel. The Bushies and the Israeli Government are out in force all the time blaming everything on Iran from the kidnapping of those soldiers to the devastation rained on Lebanon...by Israel.

The Bushies do their part by making the Iranian Prez look like: 1. an illiterate fundamentalist freak, 2. an out of control madman. Unfortunately, when he comes out and looks more or less normal it makes everything the Bushies say about Iran suspect. This is a dangerous situation of yelling wolf because one day the wolf may actually appear.

As the situation in Iraq continues to deteriorate, perhaps they'll move the '911 terrorist threat' mantra from Anbar Province to somewhere (or everywhere) in Iran. Would ignorant rightwingers and silly soccer moms everywhere buy that argument?

Maybe.

The Bushies have lied and lied and lied with unbelievable success and are now flush with money in their bank accounts. Their love of money, however, is unquenchable and disruption of oil by disrupting Iran may be too exciting for them to resist.
