Fox is such a likable guy, and this is an issue that people don't understand, so with a friendly face attached to the issue of course people are going to support Fox who is a victim as well as being a popular TV star. I can't believe Rush didn't have more savvy about this. Rush already has problems because of his perceived hypocrisy on the drug issue, and to follow that with this... what was he thinking? I never agreed with Rush on much of anything, but I never thought he was naive. I might have overestimated the man.
