Canada now has a far superior health care system than the US. Our health care system gives about 30% of the total as profit to drug companies and HMO's, so the more privatization the more we pay and the less we get. Drugs in this country cost about 300% what they do anywhere else. That is pure gouging.

Health care is definitely rationed in this country too. We just have to take what we're offered. And we cannot choose our doctors, we are given a list of doctors to choose from, in most cases, none of whom we want to go to, usually run-down clinics in bad parts of town. I'm talking about Blue Cross. Some people have better plans, but most people have poor health care or none at all. That is also really hurting our economy and making our businesses less competitive globally.
