ONLY 2Million subscribers willing to shell out for Sat-Phone is not a huge market. The build-it-and-they-will-come mentality just did not pan out. The only way I could see this working is if the goverment backed such a program (like GPS) and franchised it out to recoup some of its money. Then maybe..
