~~~~~~~~> DANGER! You are in the Everglades! DANGER <~~~~~~~~
Let's face it....flamingos (the bird), in their natural habitat, face many dangers (alligators, sharks, snakes, etc.)....flamingos (pinksheet stocks) also face many dangers that are beyond our control (halts, scams, bankruptcy, reverse splits, corruption, inept products, inept CEO's, loan sharks, etc). The purpose of the Transparent Flamingo list is NOT to endorse or imply that any stock on the list is a good investment. All that the list is designed to do, is identify pinksheet companies(flamingos) that have management that is willing to let investors view ALL of their share structure(Transparency). The share structure data (A/S, O/S, and float) are best when obtained from the transfer agent, but a concession may be made if they have filed two current reports on pinksheets.com (rare exceptions may be made if they have filed a 15c2-11 Information Statement AND have a IR guy).
When a flamingo offers for us to "view her feathers", we consider it the first act of good will, and perhaps the opportunity to form a true partnership. This transparency is, by no means, a guarantee that a company is legitimate, or acting in the best interest of it's shareholders(think Enron). Each investor, through their own due diligence, must consult with their conscious/intuition/imagination/experience when making a decision to buy a stock. We just believe that the only way to determine if an investment is shrewd is to be able to see the share structure.....any thing else and I might as well buy lotto tickets.
God Bless - No Doubt
