I totally agree!! That's what I've been trying to say! Both sides do this, though, Neeka. This is not about the conservatives being painted any more brightly than the liberals (who have been accused of being traitors and cowards). There is amazing blindness on both sides to their own similar behaviors. Rush could have, should have, seen that coming. He's a pro. HE made it personal the minute he raised a question about Fox's integrity, and he DID raise the question. Impugning a person who is not only a popular character but a very seriously ill young man is going to backfire. As it did.
