I understand your point that small and big government subsidies can be viewed as equal in principle. My point is that they can also be viewed based on equity or fairness. It's also a very simple point.

It is a different thing to homestead a piece of land with a family and in exchange receive title than it is to amass a huge mountain of wealth by monopolizing on government giveaways. it's like they guy who comes to Sunday dinner and piles his plate high with food not considering whether there is enough left for others. So I stand by my point that differentiation can be made and is appropriately made.

I find it a little bizarrre that you and DMA would argue in opposition to this simple point of fairness.

Intense greed is not a virtue in my book. Maybe it is in yours.
