Well, yes and no. It's one of those bagged prepared dehydrated soups. Wyler's or another brand, can't remember. I doctor it with thumb sized chucks of white and dark chicken, lots of extra noodles, chicken broth and, if memory serves, I think I threw in a big handful of fresh sliced mushrooms. At any rate, it is very tasty. Leftovers even tastier! I just had to buy a new crock pot this afternoon. Got a 5 quart this time. I don't know why because most of my pot meals are just for me. But, for those rare times, this will still be big enough for more of us. I just love pot meals and it's one of the few reasons I like winter.
