Its obvious this thread is no longer widely read. No mystery why. It's good for a diversion every now and then, witness ST's statement that Iranian anti-semitism is "extremely logical", but for serious discussion it has outlived its usefulness. I brought a couple of articles here which I thought made sense--Feldman's Sunday NYT Magazine piece in particular--but I had no idea it would lead to the kind of unpleasant discussion it did. Everything changes.
